Kelsey Cummings

Kelsey Cummings has loved to dance since she was first introduced to ballet classes at the age of three.  She is trained in many genres of dance, and is a certified acrobatics teacher with Acrobatic Arts as well as a flexibility specialist with Alixa Flexibility.  Kelsey danced at several schools throughout London for fourteen years before she began teaching in 2012.  The opportunity to share her love for dance with her students only solidified her passion for dance and commitment to teaching.  In addition to working as a dance instructor, Kelsey has been involved in numerous dance projects in London including “The Broadway Musical Swing” “Seussical the Musical” and “The Most Epic Birthday Party”. She has choreographed various routines for students of all ages in several public schools in the Thames Valley District School Board.  She is a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Ontario and teaches at the elementary school level. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, and French Language.  Kelsey believes in the integration of the arts across the curriculum as a means to support learning for all students. She is thrilled to be a part of the Embodied Learnings team to help achieve this goal.
