“You do not need to persevere alone. If you're struggling, Traci Scheepstra is the one I'd always recommend for heart-centred support. She is wise, patient, kind, understanding and knows education inside and out. She truly sees people and listens earnestly, always without judgement. Her nature is genuine and caring. What she offers is exceptional. She has mentored and guided me in professional and personal ways so I know first-hand how meaningful and impactful this opportunity is.”

“Traci was a mentor to me as an early childhood music teacher half a lifetime ago in her highly successful creative arts studio. She brings brightness of spirit and joy in being human to all aspects of teaching. I have gained much from receiving Embodied Learnings newsletters to my inbox this past year. Although movement in the classroom is challenging during the pandemic, I have incorporated at least one of these valuable lessons to the enrichment of my teaching experience and that of the students. Traci's commitment to inclusion of all involves increasing self-awareness, a very balanced approach.”

As a Physical and Health Education teacher, I am always looking for new and engaging ways to get my students moving. Embodied Learnings has offered me this and more. I love the the connections to nature and being mindful in many of the activities. I love that Embodied Learnings releases ideas and activities on Sundays, when I do my planning. I also appreciate the culturally relevant pedagogy that is offered. There are so many resources to choose from, helping me prepare my students to become physically literate! Thanks Embodied Learnings !

Most schools in Ontario begin every day with a reading of the Land Acknowledgment followed by the playing of the national anthem. Many students will listen to the Land Acknowledgment and some will even recite it. The question is, do they understand the meaning and intentions behind the words?
