Ep5: Mindfulness to Move Through Challenging Times (September 9, 2020)

In this episode of “Body Talk” Dr. Traci L. Scheepstra, and her daughter and Embodied Learnings Co-Founder, Rachel Belliveau, speak about the power of mindfulness to move through challenging times. As schools open their doors for the first time in several months, teachers are being urged to focus on mental health and well-being in the classroom. Traci and Rachel address the importance of teachers making the time to practice mindfulness for themselves so they can model what it looks like, sounds like, and feels like, for their students. They also talk a lot about how mindfulness supports our ability to respond thoughtfully even when we are not feeling our best emotionally and how mindfulness practice positively impacts many aspects of our lives.
